Welcome
Confirmation of online enrolment for 2025/26
Dear {{studname}},

Thanks for enrolling with Manchester Met. Visit our website to get your personalised welcome and find out details about your first session. Here are some important points to remember:
  1. Upload your photo and identity verification
If you have not yet done this, do it now. Your enrolment cannot be completed without it, and delaying may hold up access to some services, identification card printing, and any student finance you may be expecting.
  2. Collect your student identification card
Most students will collect their student identification cards on campus. Check your personalised induction for information and to book a collection time if collecting in September. Note that you must have successfully completed photo upload and identity verification three business days prior to collecting your card.
  3. Get a good start at University
During your first week, you'll meet your tutors and receive important information about your course. You'll also find out about clubs, societies and opportunities to meet people who share your interests whether through your programme, MMU Sport, the Chaplaincy, or with The Union. If you are a distance learner, please look out for introductory information via email or Moodle.
  4. MyMMU student portal
Visit MyMMU for important online services, including emails, Moodle, finance, campus maps and more. Publication of 2025/26 timetables starts 2 September, but courses starting in early September are published earlier. Timetables may take up to 48 hours to show up after online enrolment.
  5. IT and Digital support
IT and Digital have provided a checklist for new students with useful information on network access, managing your password and other helpful tips on the IT support page.
  6. Changing your contact details
If you change your address, email, phone number or emergency contact details, please update your information as soon as possible. Visit our online enrolment system and select update your contact details only. It may take up to five working days for changes to appear across University systems.

If you need to change any other personal information, for example, an incorrect date of birth, marital status or name change, please contact the Student Hub with the relevant documents.
  7. Fee payments*
If you're paying your own fees, they need to be paid in full before your course starts, unless you have an agreed instalment plan. Find out more about the University's fee payment regulations and other information on our student finance page. If you experience any problems setting up a payment plan, please contact the Finance Service Centre for support.
  8. Bursaries for eligible undergraduate students*
If you're an undergraduate, UK student eligible for home fees, and you're starting a new course from September 2025 onwards, you may be eligible for our Manchester Met University Success Fund. For more information on eligibility and how to apply, visit our Success Fund page.
* Not applicable to students of the International College.

If you have any other questions regarding your enrolment, please give us a call or email us, including your student identification number ({{mmuid}}).

We are very pleased to welcome you to Manchester Met.

Best wishes,
